Founder / Neuroscientive

Giulia Panozzo is a neuroscientist turned marketer, founder of Neuroscientive, a consultancy that helps organisations understand how people think, feel and make decisions. Combining neurophysiological, behavioural and cognitive research methods with real-world product and business challenges, she works with companies to evaluate user experiences, validate product claims and uncover the factors that drive trust, attention and decision-making. Giulia is a Visiting Researcher at the University of Padova, a guest lecturer at universities in the UK and Italy, and a regular international speaker on consumer neuroscience, AI, human behaviour and applied research methods.

Beyond the Turing Test: Measuring Human Responses to AI

In this talk, neuroscientist and researcher Giulia Panozzo takes the audience behind the scenes of a behavioural experiment designed to investigate how humans perceive AI-generated and human-generated content. Combining principles from neuroscience, psychology and experimental research, the study explores questions around trust, authenticity, decision-making and human-AI interaction. Attendees will discover how biometric and behavioural measures can be used to investigate human responses, why traditional surveys often tell only part of the story, and what it takes to design experiments that capture reactions people may not be consciously aware of. Whether you are building AI products, designing digital experiences or simply curious about the future relationship between humans and machines, this session offers a thought-provoking look at how we can measure perception in an increasingly AI-driven world, and whether our brains are ready for what comes next.
