Talks
Don’t run Kubernetes on your laptop. Smuggle your JAR into the cluster instead.
We've all been there - your microservice stack is too heavy to run locally, but pushing every small change through CI just to test a one-liner feels like overkill. There has to be a better way. In this talk, Peđa introduces Hybrid Environment — a setup that lets you compile Java locally and hot-reload your code directly into GKE, a real cluster, in seconds. No Docker image. No pipeline. Just fast, frictionless feedback that lets you focus on what actually matters: writing good code. He'll walk through how he and the Top Eleven engineering team built and implemented this approach in practice — using one of the world's most popular mobile football management games as a real-world example of what this looks like for a complex multi-service setup.
