Martin Bach
Hi, I’m Martin 👋
I currently work as a Product Manager at Oracle. My focus areas include Multilingual Engine (MLE), Oracle’s ability to run JavaScript code directly within the database, and I also care deeply about DevOps, CI/CD, Platform Engineering and Cloud Native applications. And of course everything else in that space like container orchestration (k8s) and and the surrounding ecosystem. Over the past decade, I’ve come to appreciate the need for repeatable, reliable deployments. I spent a lot of time “in the cloud” writing Terraform and Ansible scripts.
Now that AI-assisted development is all the rage, it’s only natural for me to investigate the benefits of this new way of working. It’s exciting to be part of this disruptive change from their early days

MCP Supercharges APEX: Less Clicking, More Kicking — Straight to Git Push Done
Modern development teams need more than fast UI creation: they need Git-based workflows, clean CI/CD pipelines, reproducible deployments and reliable engineering practices. Low-code is growing up — from rapid prototyping to real software delivery. With MCP and AI-powered workflows, low-code becomes not only faster, but also smarter and more resilient. This session focuses on live demos: APEX apps in plain text, versioned in Git, tested automatically, deployed through pipelines and supported by intelligent language-model workflows. Instead of slides, you’ll see how SQLcl, APEXLang, Podman and MCP turn low-code into a real development flow that cuts repetitive work, boosts quality and frees teams to build better solutions.
