This talk explores the actual environmental impact of AI, why it is neglected more often than not, and how to reduce it where possible. It examines the real numbers behind AI's energy and water use, why big companies often neglect or do not report it, and, most importantly, how everyday AI users can reduce their environmental impact.

We will start with foundational concepts of digital sustainability and then show practical implementations within Kubernetes environment.
